I’m going to be testing for my new belt next week! I’ve got to get my kicks up to par, especially jumping side kick and my side kicks in general. I also have a tournament coming up next month on St. Patrick’s Day! This will be my first tournament, and I’m super excited!

I am one more year closer to 30 today. It feels kind of ominous. But birthdays have most often been pleasant. My dad watched Black Panther on Netflix without me last night. I’m gonna watch it tonight when I get home from Tae Kwon Do practice. Also plums (Italian prunes) make good fruit leather, but if they aren’t ripe the fruit leather will be a bit tart.
