AWWAW i need more assistant AU little lore bits it seems so so cool

hello hello thanks for stoppin byyy, dont got much info for the Assistant!SMG4 AU at the moment buuut here's what has been figured out so far;

of course startin with the basic premise of the AU, which is SMG4 bein Mr. Puzzles' assistant

how Mr. Puzzles found him in the first place, heard 4's Guardian Pod land close enough to where he was hidin, and was originally goin to ignore the noise but things started gettin louder (aka the meme energy gettin unloaded into the world) and he had to go see what the commotion was all about, eventually findin SMG4 happily filmin (and tamin) the memes that were scuttlin about (basically meanin that Mr. Puzzles fuckin found SMG4 when the guy was just born fresh out the pod and discoverin his love for content-makin for the first time, and kinda,,, exploited that)

because of SMG3's Guardian Pod not bein the one to be knocked off-course, he actually lands in the correct place where he was originally intended to land (that bein the Internet Graveyard), and thus never got the chance to be plunged into villainy, he's now the Warden of the Internet Graveyard and he's pretty damn good at doin his role in upkeepin the meme life cycle

this one's probs a bit of a shocker but uhhh, because of SMG4's Guardian Pod not landin in the Mushroom Kingdom like it should have, that means that Mario didn't get blasted point-blank in the face by the USB, meanin,,,, Mario ain't stupid in this AU, there are likely still some bits of meme energy in his system, but it's nowhere close to bein overwhelmin enough to rewrite his entire personality

Extra Stuff that ain't as important but is still information:

SMG4 smokes, picked it up from Mr. Puzzles havin a smoking habit, so far he doesn't seem to realize that he should not be doin that

yooou'd probably expect that 4's been brainwashed or mind-controlled, but no, he's got free will (i figured that bein brainwashed would actually only serve to hinder 4's work instead of helpin, i don't think he'd be able to come up with any good ideas if he was just controlled)

With your assistant au, if SMG4 occasionally hears SMG3, does that work vice versa?

Just SMG3 minding his own business tending to the memes, then randomly hearing someone mumbling to themself.

it does indeed work vice versa, SMG3's just tendin to the memes, and sometimes he'd just hear SMG4 likely mumblin about all the work he has to do, may or may not be mumblin about how "it's gotta be perfect, these scripts have to be perfect, or else..."

SMG3 doesn't know who the hell that is, but damn, he wishes the other person (SMG4) would chill tf out

Wait so, since 4 got crashed off course and 3 well, got to his place... Doesn't that mean that everything that happens in cannon smg4 doesn't really happen in this au? Like, do the arcs still exist or do they never happen because of this? And if that means the arcs never happen... Does that mean characters that died in series aren't dead? Because y'know, the arcs that caused their death never happened?

that hasn't been figured out yet as of now, as the au is still in some pretty early stages ^^', at the moment the draft plan is that some of the arcs do exist, and the Showgrounds will eventually come into play, some of these may be subject to change though as we're just figurin stuff out

So, what's the au about? I don't really understand it cuz I haven't been here much lately hehe-

hello hello,,,, frankly i have no fuckin clue where to even actually begin on tryna explain the au, eeeeespecially because the au's a funky as hell mixture of a lot of my favorite hyperfixations combined (if youve been goin through the fuckinn "vry's rgb au" tag specifically you may have noticed that a bit of fnf's popped up in there, that's uh, that's the main reason/focus/starting point of the au actually hhhhhh)

best explanation i could try to come up with though is that ofc its multi-fandom focused, aaaaand sorta retellings/adaptations of canonical events (though i will say that its canon-compliant *to an extent*, as some of the events may deviate/be rewritten from actual canon) and also colors have a bit of a massive focus in the au if the au name is anythin to go by sjdjwjdjajjsj

speakin of the focus on colors, every single one of the characters do have color nicknames, iiiii just havent used em publically yet bc i wasnt in the mood to really explain the reason for why and how they even got those yet, but i'm prrrrrrobably gonna start usin them in eventually (and just so yall know, i will probably be listin the color nickname list of the goobers involved eventually, for now though you get to know that 4's is Portage (a light shade of blue) and 3's is Paua (a darker shade of blue, i am aware his main color is purple but uhh i was rediscoverin the smg4 series sometime durin puzzlevision so i was misrememberin his pre-redesign+ color palette 😭, its kinda too late to change it to some shade of purple atp so uhhh oops)

tldr; the au's a multi-fandom adaptation hell with a focus on colors woo /lh
