Somehow Blake had managed to arrive in town in time for a party. A masquerade ball to be specific. What an easy way to blend his way into the townsfolk. For Ashley to blend her way in.
Ashley enters the ballroom alone. She’s dressed to the nines. A gorgeous blue dress with a matching mask. She takes a moment to appreciate the decoration, both on the walls and the milling guests . Yes, she could fit in well here.
She beelines towards the neared group of people, eager to learn the ins and outs of this small society. Every small town she’d had the misfortune of visiting before always had some weird tradition or religion that everyone was expected to follow. The sooner she could learn this town’s the better. No point hiding if she stuck out like a sore thumb.
She notes that many of the guest have white or pale silver hair, yet do not seem to be of the age it is expected in the capital. Perhaps some odd fad or fashion scene. She hoped it wasn’t stemmed from something more divine command. She was quite fond of her dark locks. But then again. The guard weren’t looking for a young lady with silver hair.
She manages to find a glass of wine. Taking her time to sip at the drink as she listens into the conversation around her.
