Last night 18 neonates participated in the art-competition shown at the Elysium, in the hopes to win a boon. Menolaos of clan Brujah won with his shortfilm " Torpor ", but may have lost a potential ally in the process... You know you’re psyched to get your larp going again when you’ve spent the whole weekend listening to and watching different versions of Tanz Der Vampire whilst reading the Malkavian Clan Book (first edition), sending e-mails to prospecting larpers, researching Vampire stuff and doing other GM/ST-related things. All weekend, when I really should’ve studied.. Ah well...

Only three more days to go and the larp season is upon us! :D

Everyone! The Prince has arrived! Say hello to madame Clemence Corday, Prince of the domain of Gothenburg and ancillae of clan Toreador. She is accompanied by Solsken (Sunshine) and miss Julia Swan, neonates of clan Toreador.

A Prince also has to keep the peace outside of the courtroom and therefor Victoria, neonate of clan Ventrue, has been appointed Sheriff. Marcus Oleander, neonate of clan Ventrue, just arrived to the domain to witness Isabella step up from being considered a fledgling to being a neonate of clan Ventrue.

A Prince cannot rule by herself, and therefore she is accompanied by sir Lionel Hopesworth, her loyal Seneschal and ancillae of clan Malkav. He is stern but just, as a Seneschal ought to be. Beside him, at this point, he has Karin Klinga, neonate of clan Malkav and the Camarilla, and James or Jonathan, or whoever is in charge of this other neonate of clan Malkav.

Primogen Bijou of Nosferatu, primogen Sam Shaper of Tremere, sheriff Victoria of Ventrue, prince Clemence Corday (ancillae) of Toreador, seneschal Lionel Hopesworth (ancillae) of Malkav, Alva Nachtigal (ancillae) of Tremere and Elysium-keeper Quetzal of Tremere. 👉 One of the reasons that Dead River Company impresses me is the fact that they consciously work with gender-equality. Everyother ancillae-character they accept has to be non-male, a rule that encourages male larpers the encourage female larpers to apply for older, more powerful roles, and also gives the chronicle a slower pace and allowing the game to not escalate too fast. Not to forget: it also encourages the rest of the larpers (ca 20 - 30 people/larp) to work with their characters and acting on a more stable ground. The picture was taken after the premiere-larp for the term, showing all characters with an official title or an age above neonate, and it is a joy to see so many female and non-binary larpers in influental, powerful roles. All but the ages have in-game reasons for their positions and it is humbling to be part of such a wonderful larp-chronicle 👌❤ *

Kära vänner, lajvhösten närmar sig med stormsteg! Det är dags att börja boka in lördagar i kalendern, då det första tillfället är om en månad. Närmare bestämt 23e september! Därefter rullar lajven på som vanligt varannan lördag. Vi återkommer inom kort med var höstens lajvtillfällen kommer att hållas. . Nytt för i år är att ALLA måste se över sina blurbar och uppdatera dem. Framförallt är att de förut så kallade valfria frågorna numera är obligatoriska, och ni ska fylla i minst TRE punkter av känslig information (tidigare kallat mörka hemligheter). Detta gäller alla vars karaktärer har varit med ett tag, både åldersmässigt och spelmässigt. Nya lajvare har vi överseende med. Har ni svårt att komma på känslig information om era karaktärer, så ryck tag i oss, så kan vi hjälpa till att bolla med er. Vi kommer även att lägga upp en lista med förslag på olika typer av känslig information. . Samogruppen söker återigen folk som är villiga att ansvara för att lokalen fixas till innan, under och efter lajvet. Den som är intresserad tar kontakt med Alkiz (alkiz[a]galf.se). .
