the way some of you people use hyperfixation i can tell you looked at me strange when i couldnt do anything but talk, think, read, and draw anything but hyper specific characters over and over and over again, didnt understand how i couldnt remember xyz when i know 'everything' about my special interest, think that because i have energy for my fixations and interests means i can easily channel that into more serious avenues no problem, and thats why its so aggrevating when people misuse our terminology. because you're not 'hyperfixated' on bean salad. you just enjoy it a lot and that is okay.
