Cis ppl will really see a character that's explicitly only ever referred to with it/its pronouns (and at one point is called a they), has one sibling that's called "the gendered child" by the mother of said child (implying that her other children are genderless and she's an exception), and has literally had the game devs say that it's genderless, and still call it "he" and treat it as male
