To be honest, I do really like Paper Mario leaning into things being paper, I just wish this was fused more with the direction of the older games too.

Rotomdex is actually a major reason I love rotom, considering the potential for human-pokemon interaction. Wish they did more with rotomdex in the anime. They aren't just talking to a living pokedex, that's a rotom.
