Victoria had grown to enjoy Victor’s presence. She certainly should if she may end up marrying him one day. There were parts of her, parts foreign to her, that became excited to see him. Her face would light up and her awfully shy demeanor grew even more bashful. After sitting in silence for a while she finally spoke up. “The weather is finally growing cooler,” she commented. “That’s always nice. Not that I mind the warm weather, but fall is my favorite season.” She offered him a small smile. “Do you prefer fall? Or is there a different season you prefer?” she asked. This all felt a little foolish. Awkward small talk, but it’s just the way they were since meeting. Victoria bit on the inside of her cheek, unsure of what else to say. “How’s the piano going?”
