INTRODUCING VICTORIA EVERGLOT. A HUMAN FROM COOLSVILLE.
Victoria Everglot has always been a name synonymous with proper. She had the correct manners and was molded by her parents to be the perfect girl. She always did everything her parents told her to. She attended classes and lessons and behaved in a certain way. She never spoke out of turn and never disrespected her parents. She even dressed the way they wanted her to whenever she left the house.
The only thing she ever really had a choice in was picking up reading as a hobby. Sure, her parents sometimes didn’t approve of her reading material and on occasion would not let her read a certain book, but for the most part they let her be when it came to reading. Her love for reading is why she went on to major in literature in college.
School years were fairly average for her. She did well because she knew if she didn’t things would end poorly and she would disappoint her parents. Her parents anger was not something she wanted to be on the receiving end of. Victoria did do well in her classes though and was fairly popular at school, despite the fact her parents had to ‘approve’ of her friends.
After college she knew her betrothal would come soon enough. She never expected it to be to a guy like Victor. He was reserved and seemed very nervous. She was very opposed to the idea of any of this at first. She wanted to find love on her own. She yearned to have something of her own that wasn’t the product of her parents desires. Still, Victor was handsome and he was kind. She couldn’t deny that.
Victoria grew restless after her betrothal. She was exhausted of doing everything to please her parents. She wanted out and she wanted to run. She knew she could never pull it off though. Then Victor lost the ring. It felt like a chance she could finally do something for herself. She went out with new friends, felt care-free, and learned things about herself she had never thought would be true. Her parents never would approve and she often began lying to them. She even went as far as bringing a spare change of clothes and changing them after she left the house because she was sick of wearing what they approved of.
She never felt bad for kissing other people until she saw Victor with another woman. She felt a strange pit in her stomach and she didn’t like that. After that she tried making the small effort to talk to him more often, and the more they talked and spent time together the more she began to fall for him. All of that was taken away in the blink of an eye though.
Barkis Bittern was as bitter as is name sounded. Victoria knew from the moment she met him that he was bad news. She didn’t know what it was but something about him scared her. She hated being alone with him and wanted nothing more than to get as far away as possible from him.
With each day that passes she hopes Victor comes to his senses and the supposed lost ring could be found. Maybe the idea of him wasn’t so bad after all.
She doesn’t wish anything bad upon her parents but she does not bare much love for them in her heart and that makes her feel incredibly guilty. Victoria has always had a big heart she was just quiet about it. Her parents weren’t wholly evil but they did not care about their daughter in the way they should. Most of her life Victoria felt disconnected from them. She wishes they just would have done more for her emotionally instead of trying to brainwash her into their perfect version of a daughter.
She wants nothing more than to leave her parents’ home. She knows she isn’t allowed to move out until she’s married though. Victoria just wants to take the slow road with love and figure out things with someone else. She has wishes and desires of her own and has never began to explore those because of her parents. She can’t very well do that while she still sleeps in her childhood room with a window locked from the outside.
She’s only recently began speaking out against her parents. She hasn’t had too many big outbursts but she can feel herself finally cracking. With each day that passes and she’s stuck with them she feels herself go a little more insane. She has begun voicing her opinion on some things and she’s not going to marry Barkis without a fight. She hasn’t quite gotten the courage to do that yet and she just hopes she is able to get herself out of this entanglement and do what’s best for herself before it’s too late.
She’s a Libra Sun, Virgo moon, and Pisces rising.
