His ankle was either twisted or broken, and he didn’t want to look to find out. Back pressed to the crumbling wall he waited until he couldn’t hear his attackers anymore. Which really, they could still be right there, he wouldn’t know.
Jamie had only managed to get away from them by throwing a bomb and kicking out the legs of the one that had been holding him on the ground for the others to kick.
Blood dripped down his lips and he licked it away. Breath heavy in his chest.
He must have waited an hour, completely silent.
He didn’t know what to do. He was scared to move, and wasn’t sure he could walk. Off balance already with only one arm, a twisted ankle would only topple him over.
He saw someone before he heard anything, and was sure he’d seen them around before. Couldn’t pin point the place though.
“Oi! Oi! Over here!”
