It seems that Serket still has all your luck, because you have the misfortune of showing up to your ex-palemate and best friend’s hive only to find it deathly silent.
You poke around in confusion, carrying the small gift you’d brought him, and discover his mate(? you arent exactly sure what they are right now) sitting stony and horrified next to his blank unmoving body.
You don’t know what’s going on. How can a ghost die like a normal body? You saw ghosts double die on the battlefield... but they disappear when that happens. How is he still here but.... not?
