VX is not naturally found in the environment. It’s only known use has been for chemical warfare.
VX Agent, in its liquid form, is brownish and its vapors have no smell. It is delivered by use of artillery shells, land mines, bombs and aircraft with spray equipment. VX is mainly taken through the skin, but inhalation also happens. It can remain on material, equipment and terrain for a long time after exposure.
