"Who did this to you?"
The coppery smell rushing through his nostrils betrayed to the pale guy that there were probably still traces of blood covering his face, and the red stains on his shirt probably would not make him look perfectly healthy either. However, the person that had stopped him to ask for information {what was it with people and their undying curiosity these days?} was a complete stranger to him, which made Sehun question the true intentions of the male. Why the hell would it be any of his business who had done this to him?
'Is it any of your concern?' the tall male retorted, looking down upon the other with an expression that was a mixture between annoyance and mockery. Maybe it would have been a wise thing for him to have cleaned himself up a bit in the bathroom of the cafe, but truth was: Sehun simply did not care. There was a bit of pain, there was some blood. What was the big deal? He'd wash it off, the pain would fade, and everything would happen all over again someday. Not that his kind would know anything of that. 'Be glad they didn't do it to you instead. Bet you'd still be on the floor.' Was he rude? Perhaps-- but then again, it was also rude to stick your nose into someone else's business. Might it have just been worry?; that was a thought that did not even came to his mind for the slightest of seconds. Strangers did not worry about other strangers. People did not care about others in general. They were just plain selfish and that was that.

The problem about having the world under his feet and eternity in his veins was that he was too easily pleased. Frankly put, all he needed was a band of believers -- a fan base, as mortals called it nowadays -- to keep him from fading into the background. Religion was merely a notion borne from the collective obsession of a group of people centred around some fathomless entity only known as their 'god'. Or, when it came to his world, gods. There certainly was a lot of competition when it came to the amount of adoration they got -- that was a given. Humans were too easily swayed, their minds so pliable.
Frankly put, it amused him how tenacious these beings could be in their limited time, still maintaining some semblance of their primitive selves yet...changing. One could say that gods were jealous of this change; immortals themselves remained constant as the world moved past.
Apollo, of course, was naturally inquisitive. One could not be the god of medicine without knowledge, and how else could he gain information if he was not at least curious? Thus he observed, as he always did, but now...this was one hell of a first-hand experience. Not that he hadn't been around before; this was just an extended vacation. Golden eyes flashed as he sensed another liar. The world seemed to be full of them nowadays, and this shouldn't have held his attention so raptly were it not for the fact that something about this mortal was...off. The god plastered on a smile and tilted his hat genially at the stranger, lips parted to reveal pearly whites that, much like the rest of him, could brighten any gloomy day such as the one today. The smallest sparks of light in darkest souls were the lost lambs, needing guidance, and Apollo was the beacon that this inherent human goodness needed in the direst cases.
But of course, this was not enough; he had never been very skilled in the art of keeping his mouth shut. "Hello there! Wonderful day, wouldn't you say?" Placing the hat upon his head, he looked up just as the sun's rays peeked from the clouds, casting them away almost entirely. "Spring is upon us once again! Now I don't know about you, but I'm glad that the winter season is over. Time to go out and about meeting people, and all that jazz. Good beginnings of great friendships always begin with good introductions, did you know? Now, now -- your name, good sir?"
Sehun and Micah
vxfinifugal:
An eyebrow arches when the other male approaches, and Micah’s dark hues slowly travel up the man’s tall form. “Hello,” he responds quietly, surprised at the other’s bright greeting. He assesses the male’s sharp, yet handsome, facial features; only mildly surprised to take notice of the two raven feline ears protruding from his blonde locks. Such a characteristic is not easily forgotten, so Micah is sure that he has not come into contact with the stranger before. “And who might you be?”
He tilts his head to the side, twitching his ears curiously and slightly raises a brow. “I’m Sehun, you?” He blinks momentarily and curls his tail around his waist from the uncertainty of the situation. He bites down on his lip as he awaits for other’s reply.
vxfinifugal:
A surprised expression crossed the male’s visage, and he watched as the young woman toyed with the ring that she had taken from his fingers. He had recently come across the jewel during his walk through the park; a familiar path that he chose to take every day after work, in order to make it back to his home. Normally, nothing out of the customary fashion occurred, but today his eyes had caught something shining amongst the leaves and faded grass. When he moved to observe the strange item further, he discovered that it was a ring.
Micah was no expert on jewels, or their worth, but he was sure that the accessory was expensive—so whomever had misplaced it would, no doubt, be desperately awaiting its return. Before he had the chance to ask those who were already in the park, he noticed a female, bearing a rather perplexed expression, rushing towards the area at which he stood. He was no fool, so it did not take him long to place the pieces of the puzzle together, and he approached her—extending his find. The relief in her eyes gave him the confirmation that he needed; the ring had been in her possession.
His lips curved into a reassuring smile as he spoke; “I noticed it on the ground, when I was walking past. I thought that its owner would be pleased to see it,” and his assumptions had been correct. “I know what it is like to misplace things; I’m afraid I have the worst memory. You’re lucky that you noticed its disappearance so quickly.”
Misplacing items wasn't something she's capable of doing most of the time. If possible, she would at least take notice of it slipping out of her grasp with a sharp mind. So when it happened, she immediately panics. Not entirely sure where it went off to but the ring was quite loose around her ring finger but even then she considers it a perfect fit. Jewels wasn't something she enjoyed receiving but it's appreciated, unlike most women who constantly ask for it -- Naeun always questioned and requested for something else.
Retracing steps, as if this was a video that was rewinded. Glancing along the concrete pavement in hopes that it was right there but no luck for now. It takes a lot for her to remain calm and collective, it's a possession that holds deep meaning upon it. The woman felt another's presence approach her, turning her head to gaze back at him and suddenly the palm that was extended out towards her directly. Fingers curled into a loose fist to take it back as she bows deeply in appreciation.
Words slipped past his lips and suddenly she felt obligated to force a laugh out of the center of her lips to remain rather calm and nonchalant. Despite the embarrassment she was currently feeling for misplacing such an item that was a bit too small, she was surprised he wasn't the many few who neglected it and left it there at the unknown area. "Well the owner is relieved to see it so thank you, kind sir." Pausing, lips pressed together briefly and again, they part. "Makes two of us then. This holds some meaning to me so.. thank you again. If there's anything I could repay you with, please don't hesitate to inform me."

Evanesco || Micah & Jonghyun
Disappear (v.) To cease to be seen, vanish from sight
Jonghyun, to the world, was nobody. A letter, a color, an identity but not person. Vanish, reappear. A constant magic trick, he was designed only to fool people not to truly be there, solid, corporal. He was used to it, he wasn't a fool to be taken in by sentiments and emotions, to fool himself into thinking that he was lonely because nobody truly knew him. It was better this way, to vanish in and out of people's lives, taking what he pleased because that was all he truly needed.
Vanish, reappear. Then disappear again.
A fiery explosion, a headlong car crash, maniacal laughter from nobody's mouth but his own. Black smoke stood stagnant in carnage while he was gone, on the sidewalk as a simple spectator to his own crash. He was never truly observant but he didn't miss the flash that appeared on the other side of the street as well. Dark hair, a young face. Uneasiness rippled under his skin but he never quite forgot that boy. Threats weren't something that Jonghyun was used to dealing with, someone with the ability to do the same as he, ripping through the fabric of reality to force one's way through the world. He prided himself on being able to do that alone.
So, he followed. Followed the boy through cramped street corners, eyes trailing him from steep roofs, becoming his unneeded guardian angel, aiding him when it was required and disappearing leaving only taunting laughter in his wake.
This game of careful cat and mouse was a past time that he thoroughly enjoyed but he knew it couldn't last forever.
Elimination. Having someone that could potentially usurp him was unsettling, uncomfortable, although he knew that there was no need for a true reason to kill someone. His steps were silent, deadened stride on concrete, his hair messy in the wind and a nondescript sweatshirt hanging on his torso.
"Hey, kid." His tone was easy going as he blocked the warm rays of the sun from the boy with his body. "Mind if I sit here?" Jonghyun quickly interjected before the other had any time to fit a word in. "Micah. It's been quite awhile since we've last met even if you don't remember me, kiddo. Without hesitation, he ruffled the boy's dark hair, a cocky smirk on his lips. "You know me whether you'd prefer otherwise." He shrugged, as if helpless, and sat leisurely on the bench despite the fact that his request hadn't been acknowledged yet. "Aren't you curious as to who I am, then?"
