I got Vykron in the mail today, very cool packaging with a big Frazetta inspired triptych mural on the front of the box.

The figure itself is really nice and I’m going to check out his other armors later today.

Vykron is interesting cause apparently according to MOTUC there's two people with the same name. The first original Vykron was Grayskull's champion and descendant of Vikor during the age of sorrow. Thousands of years later but fifty years before Prince Adam’s birth, the second Vykron was just a gladiator warrior in Lord Choloh's arena who took Vykron's name and armor. He sadly met his end against the evil gorilla Gygor.

This is the kind of lore that really enhances the world building makes the universe of MotU feel real.

There are other heroes that inspire even more heroes between the time of King Grayskull and the time of Prince Adam. They had their own stories, their own trials, and their own victories... and their own tragically heroic deaths.

I love this kind of lore and I love this kind of Ask. Thank you for sending this.
