Vyreen centaur,,, centaur vyreen,,, vyreentaur,,,?
I TOTALLY FORGOT TO POST THIS HERE BUT. Vyreen ethnicities.
From left to right: the islander Ya’vyurtti, the Huaan of the southern steppe, the Uttakaan of the eastern steppe, the Waauneke of the northwestern steppe, the Teig of the eastern iceflats, the Hijutta of the western tundra, and the Chyrein of the highlands.
The Ttamuu, baron of snow
The Ttamuu is Kyynarr’s largest, and heaviest bird. Females grow to be 8-9 feet at the shoulder and weigh anywhere from 1450 to 1650 pounds, while males are roughly 25% smaller, 6-7 feet tall, and 1085 to 1240 pounds. These titanic ratites are one of the only animals which the fearsome Redwing hesitates to attack, as they are incredibly aggressive, and will not hesitate to disembowel aggressors with their massive, 7-inch claws. They often eat whatever hapless creature they happen to fell, not caring if they have died from shock, or are still alive.
oooogh
The Terrible Redwing, sanguine kings of sky
The Redwing is one of the most well-known dragons, present in every environment across Kyynarr, from the freezing tundra of south Eiivyrr to the scorching deserts of west Yiievias. Quite unsurprisingly, these fearsome beasts feature in legends and literature worldwide, coming to symbolize many things, from strength and bravery to cruelty and cunning.
The Harehound, Eiivyrr's strangest predator
The Eiivyrrian Harehound does not seem odd at first. Yes, it might be strange to see a carnivorous rabbit eating chickens... but not when you take into consideration that many herbivorous animals partake in carnivory ever so often. No... what makes the Harehound so odd is that it doesn't belong... Other than it, Eiivyrr has no placental mammals whatsoever, not even seals or bats. So one wonders... how did this strange, coyote-sized carnivore end up among titans, in a land of dragons. It seems... that nobody will know (Image under cut. TW blood, dead animal)
The Masked Seadragon, playful maritime tricksters
Smallest of the Leviathans, at only 20 feet long, the Masked Seadragon is a shellfish specialist, using its thick tusks to crack open the shells of its preferred prey, shellfish. They are one of the few Leviathans still capable of hauling themselves onto land, and can often be observed sunbathing, full and satisfied after a long day of foraging for clams. Seadragons are quite inquisitive creatures, often poking their heads out of the water to gawk at fishervyreen (and sometimes snag a few fish from their catch).
The White-Faced Cockatrice, a curious 'living fossil'
These large wading birds are among the strangest of Kyynarr's inhabitants. Related to other such species as the Greater Black Cockatrice, the Forest King or Golden-Tailed Cockatrice, and the diminutive, Snake-Eater Bird. White-Faces are seemingly the odd ones out among their kin, who are already strange enough. Unlike other cockatrices, who use their deadly sickle claws to stab and drag prey in for a killing bite, the White-Faced Cockatrice instead employs its massive arms, to impale fish and other aquatic prey. These arms, which distinguish it from other cockatrices, are five feet long, and nearly make up half of the animal's body length.
