Closeups I meant to post yesterday lmao
I had an evil thought. What if I make a wbk OC
Finished with the facial appearance designs of my Part 4 OCs 👍🏽
+ Here’s my favorites from me drawing my sister’s interpretations of the JoJos
Today’s current thoughts on my continued foray into making fan OCs:
So far I’ve had an easier time working with making jojos OCs, because I work backwards on them mostly by starting with the stand and then making the user around that, because coming up with powers from a song is a base point you can work with, in addition to if and how they would interact with canon characters too
Making my winbre OC, it’s been a bit slower because the base points I’ve had with songs for my jjba OCs stands is now removed. Like, I do have an idea for the character but it’s much more vague than my jjba OCs starting ideas. And additionally I’m not as sure as how I would want the character to interact with canon characters (or lack of interaction thereof) - it feels a bit more like a requirement for this character because the plot of wbk centers so heavily on a close community of people rather than like jjba where’s a larger lore and powers that you could just have a standalone OC that has nothing to do with anything that happens in canon at all but would still fit the vibes…
"Passed around like a blunt" has entered my repertoire within the past two days because of my own OC, so glad I made him
Whatever but back to our regularly scheduled programing:
Sometimes I watch like art tracing scam videos and the person will be talmbout some "why don't they show their layers" and I have to remind myself that the majority of digital artists do not merge their layers as they go along in a piece
I’ve been actually doing some writing stuff lately
