A friend to me is someone who shares the same interests as you, talks to you regularly, build up an actual bond. It takes time too.

I’m more selective with who I want in my circle due to last year’s awful experiences.

If someone approaches me first or already claims that we’re friends despite just following each other back, I don’t want it.

Basically, let me come to you first and test out the waters.

I’m not always going to accept people. But I’ll interact with them freely and regularly. On an acquaintance level if I do it long enough.

Like to you, I see you as an acquaintance. We share the same moots and we interact some, but we haven’t really done anything on a personal level.

When he comes home, he’s immediately in tears. You rush to the door to meet him. “Ness, what happened?” He wipes his eyes with his hand. “Kaiser just being Kaiser, he’s so hateful.” You hug him tight in your arms. “What did he say? You don’t have to tell me of anything if you don’t want to.” He sniffles. “I was about to pass the ball to him for a Kaiser Impact, and my foot slipped. So the ball went sideways and it curved away from him. I got yelled at.”

You back out of the hug and cup his face. “It was an accident. You didn’t deserve that, over a mistake is crazy.” You slowly moved your lips closer to his and you kissed him. He blushes but he kisses you back. “Thank you, that was actually the best first kiss ever! I haven’t been kissed before.”

You kiss his lips again. He makes a little whimpering sound. “I love you Ness, please don’t let Kaiser get you down like that ever again.” He smiles. “I’ll do my best not to.” This time he kisses you on the lips. Then your cheeks. You leaned down to kiss his forehead but he kissed yours first instead.

“Let me take a shower real quick. After that, we can cuddle on the couch and watch a movie.” You leave him be for now. You start looking through movie selections.

Hiii! May I request some Alucard x Reader who has been constantly pushing themselves without proper rest because of something that changed in their life? Preferably some emotional hurt/comfort?

Repeated Cycles

Synopsis: You’ve been through a traumatic event. Revenge is what you seek, you’ve been making plans day after day without resting. Alucard has enough of seeing you like this and decided to take action.

AN: I hope this is what you had in mind and I hope you like it!

You lost your family because they were killed and eaten by the noble vampires who live in Versailles. You and your family were attacked in your own home. Only you managed to escape because you jumped out of your bedroom window before your bedroom was found. The rest of your family members, were sitting together downstairs and talking amongst themselves.

As soon as you escaped and made your way to Alucard, you've been non stop plotting and talking to him about how and when you're going to take action.

Alucard has kept you in check and has been honest with your ideas and told you that it's not going to work out and that it needs to be thought through again.

Needless to say, you've been doing all of this very irrationally and you're not thinking about the road ahead in the long run. You don't even come up with a plan B if something goes wrong, you're dead set on plan A.

Every day, you're either mapping out the areas you want to take route on, or you're writing your ideas down. You're not giving yourself time to rest. You're not even giving yourself time to sleep!

At the moment, you're sitting down and looking at your notebook while taking small bites out of an apple. Alucard walks up to you.

"You need more than just an apple to get you through the morning. You also need to sleep for a long time."

You scoff, "what do you know? You don't ever sleep."

"I used to sleep for a very long time. Believe me, if I wasn't out here saving each country from peril on my adventures, then I would be sleeping for centuries. I'm tired, but I can stand it longer than you can. You're not a vampire, stop acting like one."

You look up at Alucard.

"I don't have time to rest! I need to avenge my family."

"I know all about revenge. Trust me. You may not know what I've been through with my father, but I've seen him think and act irrationally for far too long. He needed to be stopped."

Alucard continues.

"It took a while to come up with a well thought out plan and strategy to kill my father. Before I even started my mission, I was sleeping underground for a long while because I knew the road ahead was going to be exhausting."

"Look, I know you want to get it done and over with, but you simply cannot do that. You better listen to a word I say now. Or else, you'll end up like the rest of your family."

Alucard's lecture is making you even more tired than you already are. He's right though, in the end you know he is.

You sigh, "fine. We'll have it your way."

Alucard smiles and takes the notebook out of your reach and puts it on a shelf.

He comes back to you and walks you to a bedroom.

You sigh, "I haven't been exactly honest with you. I don't sleep because I have nightmares about what happened which makes me stay awake and start thinking about revenge."

"I can stay in the room with you while you sleep if you want me to. If you have a bad dream, I can wake you up."

You look up at him.

"I'd appreciate that. Thank you."

You lay in bed and drift off to sleep.

Alucard is sitting on the floor against the bed. Kind of like he's guarding you.

He whispers, "I hope this sleep of yours takes twenty four hours." He then smiles.
