“what is even the point of having a live-in demon if you won’t let me test something on you?” the witch cried, voice levelling up in volume because quite frankly, he was done with playing nice. nice being johnny threatening to kick the demon out and leaving him behind or coaxing him with bribes such as accompanying demian out in the outside world to create a nuisance for the poor unsuspecting humans that they encounter. the latter choice was where the witch had put all his gold on, knowing how much the demon loved to play around with non-magical beings yet it still wasn’t enough for demian to agree and take the small vial of colourless liquid that johnny had been holding out for the past 20 minutes. it was clear from the continuous foot tapping and the frown that continued to deepen on his young face that johnny was losing patience. “come on, demian. do this for me. please?” he couldn’t help but cringe, hating how this had led him to now beg. beg the damned hellspawn for help. oh how he hated it. “my customer will arrive soon and i need this perfected so for the love of god, drink it! if something goes wrong i can fix it!” the witch pauses, grey eyes suddenly alight and wide, voice suddenly lowering, “if you don’t take this, i’ll open those doors and let some of those pesky faes that you hate so much take you.”
