Migrating from W Edition: everything you need to know
You may have seen a popup warning that you’re using New XKit “W Edition”, starting today. This is because this upload is not affiliated with us, and has seemingly been abandoned.
What do I do now? How do I install the official version for Firefox?
Head over to our releases page on GitHub. Now, see that .xpi link? Just click it! It’ll act like an install button. (If that doesn’t work, there’s a note right above it about that.)
How do I transfer my settings? Does W Edition have a separate XCloud?
It doesn’t! If you’ve got an XCloud account, just upload to it on W Edition and download from it on the official version. If you don’t, a local XCloud export works fine too.
