Emil looks so adorable, I want to hug him 🥺🥺

From what I’ve seen, it seems like he’s always wanted to see or reach out to the MC in some way—maybe even more than Leif. That made me think that, despite how coldly the MC treats him, Emil doesn’t actually hate them.

Obviously, I plan to improve my relationship with him. He’s just a kid, after all 🥺

I understand why the MC treats him that way. The trauma is incredibly heavy, and the circumstances of his birth only make things worse. On top of that, they have to live in the same environment as their abuser—that’s a lot to carry. So I don’t blame them.

The only way forward is to heal slowly and try to build a better connection with Emil.

I have two questions:

1. Does Emil know about his circumstances, or at least have some idea why the MC treats him that way? Normally, I’d assume not—no one would tell something like that to a child. But since no one in this castle seems completely sane, I’m not so sure 😅

2. Will the nanny who cares for Emil and calls herself his mother be a problem? I mean, Emil didn’t seem happy when she tried to stop him from seeing the MC. I just want to know: when we start trying to get closer to our child, do we need to worry about the nanny interfering?

Again, I don’t think that’s supposed to be likely—MC is still one of Emil’s parents and a consort in the castle, and she’s just the nanny. But once again... this castle is full of unpredictable people.

So, in a hypothetical scenario where the MC is trying to bond with Emil—talking to him, helping him with something—and Emil notices the nanny trying to sabotage that, how would he react?

He is a child and again mc is right in the situationship due to trauma and yeah I agree, healing is the best way.

Also i would like to say that there is hate inside of him for Mc; which is like young Mc. They loved their mother(despite her abuse) but also hated her. Its normal.

1. None told him. Mirsell (The nanny) didn't want him finding out about his birth and how he got made. He doesn't understand why Mc treats that way but a few of his older half siblings did try to tell him but Leif would come around and stop them from saying anything about it.

2. Yup, The nanny will come around alot and considers herself to be his mother since she took care of him at birth. She will be a problem also some characters as well; they will help Mirsell and try to stop Mc from getting near Emil.

As for the scenario..

If Mc tried bonding with Emil: he would get really happy about it since that's all he wanted in life, the love from Mc. If the nanny tries to ruin it, Emil would get mad and cry, he did hurt Mirsell before but hitting her or even telling a lie so she would get punished by Leif.

If Emil noticed than he will be sad and angry, he calm down though and explain that Emil doesn't need her anymore. He has love from Mc now.

Mirsell would be sad and probably would cry for days on end but would still stick around for Emil, that's her baby as well.

thinking abt nat punishing puppy and puppy continuing to punish themselves even after it's over just because they saw how mad it made nat. they just stay in the kennel, not accepting any affection from anyone. like really beating themselves up about it.

now why would u send this to me

nat seeing that puppy's taken all of their toys and set them outside the kennel door and gone back to curling up with their nose in the corner facing the wall

maybe puppy breaking (by accident of course) something of nat’s - like a family heirloom or something very very precious to nat - and nat gets so upset and emotional that she punishes puppy and then spends a few days where she can’t be around puppy and keeps shooting her dirty looks/being rough w her:( and pups just sad and sulking (but then nat obv forgives her and things are fine) -🍄

oooh i can see nat even going the opposite route; she knows it was an accident, so she doesn't feel like puppy deserves a punishment, but she's still upset. she snaps at puppy to leave the room and shakes puppy off of her every time she tries to touch nat. puppy's very unsure of herself by the time nat starts getting ready for bed. she waits quietly until nat gets in bed next to her and curls around the plush toy she brought to bed when nat turns her back to her.

the next day is the same; nat continues to completely ignore her and misery quickly settles in for puppy. the night after, puppy decides to sleep in her kennel and when natasha doesn't bother to call her back or even close the kennel door, puppy bites into one of her soft toys and cries.

maybe after this, puppy is just sad and meek around nat and sleeps alone in her kennel for days, quietly crying in her sleep and nat can hear her but is adamant about teaching puppy her lesson.

but maybe then puppy has nightmares of nat deciding puppy is a bad pet and taking her out of her kennel and out of the house, so one day puppy wakes up terrified and starts having a panic attack (or just whining loudly if a panic attack is too human) and nat worries and goes to check on puppy only for puppy to think that her nightmare has come true and nat is gonna abandon her, so even as nat tries to help puppy starts freaking out even more because now nat's talking even louder (trying to tell puppy to calm down) and so nat decides to just sit and pet puppy as much as she can in silence.

eventually puppy calms down enough for nat to carry her to bed and silently comfort her an kiss her tears away and reassuring her that the punishment is over and that she loves her puppy so so much.

that was literally so much angst puppy thinking nat's gonna get rid of her will always make me make to pull my hair out, especially when i think about how puppy only knows particular phrases and words, everything else she just reads on tone and body language and her thinking nat's getting mad at her for freaking out when she's actually trying to calm her down I just can't

Sometimes being without Natasha hits you particularly hard.

It’s not that you didn’t enjoy spending time at Agatha’s house despite all the different rules, but it was just so different.

It doesn’t have the same warm feeling to it that Natasha’s home does. There’s no teasing or playful banter between the staff and Agatha’s not mean to you per se, but she’s definitely not enamored by the attention you shower her with.

By day four, the homesickness overwhelms you. Agatha finds you sniffling under the couch and when you don’t respond to her holding and trying to soothe you, she calls Natasha. The second you hear her voice, you let out a high-pitched, mournful whine that has Natasha concerned in an instant.

She’s at Agatha’s door before the sun’s had time to set and you nuzzle into her, wanting to be as close as possible. Natasha coos gently in your ear, holding you tight until your muffled whines fade and you peek up at her through your lashes.

“Hi, babygirl.” She croons.

When you get home, she kisses away the aching in your heart and you fall asleep in her arms.

The next few days are difficult.

You panic a bit whenever she moves to go anywhere, sometimes laying in her lap to stop her and she has to reassure you she’ll be right back or take you with her.

Instead of making yourself comfortable in your pet bed in her office, you lie by her feet, head resting against her ankle.

It’s...a bit much to be truthful, but Natasha coddles you all the same

Agatha’s definitely not pet sitting again.

Does puppy ever get sad for no reason? Maybe they’re being a bit fussy and no one really knows why

"C'mon, puppy, you need to finish your food." Natasha brings the chicken up to your mouth again, but you turn away, burying your face into Natasha's shirt with a soft noise.

Natasha sighs, putting the food down and rubbing your back soothingly. You'd been in a strange mood all day, wanting attention even more than usual. She'd had an important phone call and kept her office door closed, only to hear you whining and messing with the door handle for nearly ten minutes.

The girls said they had tried to coax you away, but you laid next to the door after it was clear Natasha wasn't going to open it, sulking in the hall.

As soon as she's out the door you're whining to be picked up, instantly tucking your head in her hair and holding onto her tight.

You fuss when she puts you down and tug at her pant leg when she tries to get up without picking you up again.

Natasha takes your temperature, thinking you might be sick, but it comes back normal.

You don't want to play at all and she eventually settles for just lying in bed, murmuring soft praises in your ear and kissing you softly.

Hi! Love your widow au, and was wonder if we can have insight in Natasha reaction when she learn that puppy was lost/ have left ?

“What do you mean you can’t find her? Where the hell could she have gone?” Natasha’s been pacing for nearly half an hour now. Her composure cracked after the first fifteen minutes of searching the house and calling for you. She’s scared and starting to verge on frantic.

“I checked outside, she’s not out there either.” Ana’s are eyes are welling up with frustration and Daria puts a soothing hand on her shoulder.

“She couldn’t have gotten very far, Ms. Romanoff. She wouldn’t know her way around outside the property.”

“I should’ve gotten her a fucking tracking chip.” Natasha snarls to herself.

The girls watch her continue pacing, not daring to interrupt.

“Tell Mischa to come home and then we’re searching around the perimeter of the house.”
