So, Wonder Woman ended up being absolutely fantastic. The first test footage was absolutely trash, but this finished version, wooooow.

Anyways, the movie beings in France. Our Diana works at the Louvree Museum which you probably saw at the new trailer. Diana receives a letter from Bruce and starts to remember things from her past.

We’ll see a 8 years old Diana who thinks she was made of clay (that ancient legend of magic beings made of clay)

* You’ll get to see the story of the Amazon ladies and how they were created, which is epic (they come from the seas and the scene of their creation by Zeus is so fucking beautiful

* Diana is a ‘gift’ from Zeus and she’s called The God’s Killer, the only amazon who could kill Gods.

*During most part of the movie, she’s still quite young and doesn’t fully understands what her powers are nor who she is or where she belongs to. In fact she’s quite naive and quite different from the confident Diana we all saw in BvS

*Antiope, Diana’s aunt is the one who teaches her how to fight, behind Diana’s mom’s back because her mom didn’t want her to be a fighter (her mom was too afraid of the Wrath of Ares)

* Everything indicates that Diana is kind of Zeu’s daughter, but this only quite implied.

*Too many things happen in the mean time, (too effing many) and at some point, Chris Pine falls in the Island and he’s saved by Diana, who promises to protect him if he takes her to the war (she believes Ares could be found whenever there was a war and she was so right).

* Ares (cof cof our dear professor) coff coff, is amazing and complex. I would have prefered another take on him though.

*The scene where they try to dress Diana as a “proper lady” is HILARIOUS

* There are various hints of feminism and women who are oppressed there (Diana doesn’t understand why the ladies from London are so submissive to the men from Town).

* Cliche hetero but canon love story

* Overall I’ll give it a 8,5 ~9 ish, before my second watch. Usually I watch the press premiere first and then I watch it again with the regular crowd to see the people’s reaction.

* Personally,I LOVED the movie. Wonder woman is my 2nd favorite superhero so yep, I was glad to not be disappointed. There are still some details to be added and cut out, but overall, that was it.
