“Can you imagine a love so gentle and honest, that it fundamentally changes a person’s nature for the better? Can you imagine a love so good and pure, that it changes someones life?”

by Simran Bhakta ❀ Can you imagine something so kind so kind, it brings light ebbs anger away like the roar of a tide
I’ve seen this going around a lot recently so I though I would reblog in case anyone wants to read the whole poem 💖
I keep waiting for something to change, for some fundamental shift in my thoughts or disposition. But of course it never does, and I’m lost, no one at all
- Excerpt from a Book I’ll Never Write
“The first step in becoming fearless is admitting you’re afraid, and the second is doing it anyway”
— Excerpt from a girl with a broken heart
“Perhaps the saddest thing, is that a friend asked me what kind of person I was looking for, and I replied: “Oh you know, great personality, good conversationalist, beautiful body, dark hair and a beard.” But what i left out was: works for the government, is five feet and eight inches tall, makes me laugh from the bottom of my soul, loves crocs, lives on the East Coast, and is named Zach.””
— Excerpt from a book I’ll Never Write, Perhaps the Saddest Thing
Fuck zach tbh, I’m glad he’s gone lmao
“Perhaps the saddest thing is, From time to time I still think about calling you, about telling you how much I miss you, and how often I think of you. But I never do, because I remember that we stopped speaking for a reason”

You’re not weak just because you’re having a rough time right now.
- Just breathe. You’re doing your best and I see that
I wonder if the reason you’re so vile, is that when you see others with their lives in front of them. With an uncertain future full of promise and opportunity, you’re reminded that all you have left is your rotting body and a deteriorating mind.
I wonder if when you see me, all you can see is the girl you could have been, and that fills you to the brim with uncontrollable rage.
- I hope it does
“Perhaps the saddest thing, Is that one moment, you’re in love, or you’re best friends, or you’re in a committed relationship, And the next; you’re just a nuisance, you’re blocked without any good explanation, you’re just another stranger. Or worse yet, you’re forgotten completely.”

And I don’t want to see how good you’re doing, or how you know what real love is now, or about how everyone’s patting you on the back for being so progressive
- I don’t want to see you at all
And suddenly, it feels like I'm young again. And it's summer, and I feel nothing but your absence in every action, every laugh, every dream- In Everything
Excerpt from a Book I’ll Never Write
I don't know much- But I do know that I don't want to die here
Excerpt from a Book I’ll Never Write
“And just because I break my own heart all the time- Dreaming of things that will never come true- And wishing for things I know I can’t have Doesn’t mean you’re allowed to break my heart too”
