It’s not that they purposely arranged to kill everyone. They never purposely arranged to kill everyone unless their plan was just that. And their plan most definitely wasn’t that. Not now, not at that moment, but what choice did they get? Pancake was almost shot, and Pensador wasn’t going to just let that shit slide. 

The bodies didn’t bother the women, no, what bothered them was the fact they weren’t the only ones after the sole survivor. Pensador was surprised anyone other than their target lived through the assault, and more so at the fact they were after the same person.

Wiping her knuckles onto her jeans, smearing crimson onto the pocket, Pancake emerged from cover first, gun aimed at the other, possibly others, that were attempting to take their human money bag. She held a strong stance and, after a moment of silence, Pensador, too, emerged, her own gun in hand. 

Their target sat in the middle, acting as a makeshift barrier they dared not to creep closer to. 

“We don’t have to do this.” Pensador stated, her voice masqueraded by promise of life, though its origin anything but. “You can go, let us take him, and not worry about having to watch your back. I’m giving you one chance, and she’s not as calm or understanding as I am. So be quick.” A reference to her deaf partner, not that her disability was known to everyone in the room.

Usually, she wouldn’t even propose this, but honestly she just wanted to go home. All she needed was to take this guy in, collect the money, and- who was she kidding? Whoever was alive seemed all too calm and collected. Her brow cocked.

“You’re not one of them, are you?“ Her tone grew far more serious, brow lowering, matching her mouth which was set in a line. "All we want is him.”
