I recieved a copy of the new Werewolf: the Apocalypse corebook in the mail the other day, which is a bit exciting. Sadly, I couldn't do as many pictures for W:tA as I did for Hunter: the Reckoning because my wrists are messed up. But I got to do some, and I think this one is my favourite.

what is your favorite tribes for WTA?
Okay, definitely Black Furies as my number one overall.
They were the one I gravitated to first when I started getting into W:TA after Hunter The Parenting introduced a goddamn werewolf into my silly vampire hunting show. Are the Black Furies perfect? No, no they are not but neither are any of the Garou Tribes.
Black Furies are the avenging angels of Mother Earth and hearing "Hey, you can play as a Feminist Eco-terrorist Rage Machine of Claws and Fangs in this RPG." instantly made me fall in love. Reading the tribebook just made it better. It actually made me plan out an Owl House/W:TA cross actually... And since 5th edition lets you be a trans Black Fury, I am pretty much kinning the Furies. I mean, I like to believe that 20th anniversary BF's are also full of Trans Furies but thats just me.
As for my other favorite... okay, so I wasn't into the Children of Gaia at first. Kind of didn't click with them in the beginning. Then I played Heart Of The Forest and Book Of Hungry Names. Actually seeing the COG characters and hearing their perspectives made me appreciate them more.
Now I am working my way through their tribebook and I feel stupid for ever dismissing them int he first place. Children of Gaia are cool and I am loving them more and more.
My other pick would be... Bone Gnawers. BG's are the perpetual underdogs and they look out for the little people society forgets: the homeless, the poor, the undesirable druggies and burn-outs. Bone Gnawers are based and I love it.
So yeah, Black Furies and Bone Gnawers for my faves overall with Children of Gaia as a growing third.
