Dragon Loop is appalled that Siffrin asks if they would like to play fetch with a large stick. The nerve! The audacity! They tell him that they don't even have a proper mouth. But Siffrin confesses to being presumptuous, touching their head during the times they were meant to be resting together.

... At the price of having to relearn how to unhinge their pointless jaw, they agree to fetching a stupid stick for a little while.

yuuji getting fake contractions as he gets closer and closer to his due date sending megumi into a panic every time because he's never quite sure when they need to go and this is so, so new.

when yuuji's water breaks he doesn't even notice at first because he was just too cozy and it takes megumi walking in to see the water stain on the bed to get them going.

megumi never complains about yuuji's late night cravings, and if he can't get what yuuji wants by god he's gonna figure out a way to make it because nothing is better than a happy yuuji and a happy baby.

yuuji absolutely breaks megumi's hand while he's pushing and megumi doesn't even care, is just so happy that yuuji and the baby are okay and healthy, just peppering kisses all over yuuji's face because he's so strong and brave and beautiful and he did so good.

im obsessed with the false contractions, yuji maybe being on edge about it but after so many times being sent back home he kinda starts to wait til they feel "different" somehow 😭 hes mid sentence, explaining something from a movie, stopping and sucking a sharp breath between his teeth and holding low right below his bump...

them keeping a pregnancy journal because yuji wants to be able to show their baby in the future, even if on some days its tough (he always wanted kids, of course, but still! the changes can get to him!) and they can physically SEE when the baby drops and how his bump droops 😭

him bouncing on an exercise ball, leading to him bouncing on megumi 🤭

megumi being the most prepared with their "go bags" all ready, the car seat is already installed after they both watch a youtube video or two to make sure they did it right. not sleeping as well because he doesn't want to somehow sleep through yuji going into labor...

and megumi would hold his hand and keep him steady when he gets his first shower after giving birth to their perfect lil baby, the sleeves of his shirt get soaked from reaching in and scrubbing yujis scalp the way he likes, keeping himself mostly dry for if the baby cries 🥺
