The theme was "obscure anthropomorphic media that inspired you" so naturally, I had to go with Felix the Cat: the Movie. All of the magazine ads in Progress City are dimly lit photos in front of a swamp, it's fine.

Another Felix character redesign!

Here's corrupt circus owner and ringmaster Wack Lizardi!

He's from the Felix the Cat film and given the deserved notorious reputation that film has, he's probably gonna be the only aspect of that film to be included in my canon, everything else from it can stay in limbo.

The film actually had a really interesting production history to it and some of the designs made for the film are actually quite good, but it's a shame it was wasted for what the end result was. It makes me wonder if the film was originally gonna be something entirely different at one point but Felix was just slapped onto it.

No I cannot. My descent into obscurity with my art is never ending. And you know what I don’t mind at all! My bf loves the Felix the Cat Movie (absolutely terrible film btw you should all watch it, the best part is the evil carney lizard), so I’ve been doodling him Felix movie related stuff and he loves my redesigns. So have my Princess Oriana, Felix, Wack Lizardi redesigns :>
