The teen arts council decided that we want to give a platform to people who are underrepresented in the museum and art industry so they can share their experiences and message. We chose the panelists because they have unique perspectives of social change and building/ engaging in a movement. The Guerrilla Girls commonly talk about how poorly minorities are represented in popular museums, even though they only really represent the white women narrative. This discussion was lead by questions from the audience, filtered through the teen council members.
