Nico, the former linebacker at Tulane University, was offered a college free agent deal by Redskins scouts after they were impressed by his performance at last week’s rookie minicamp. The 5-foot-8, 195-pound Nico Marley was viewed as a tweener prospect that possibly could play safety in the NFL. However, he spent rookie minicamp at inside linebacker for the Redskins. In Saturday’s practice, he recorded a forced fumble and an interception.
