I know the whole RH situation is terrible and yucky and just frankly horrific. We’ve lost a AH member who had been here from the beginning and is so much content and was idolized by a lot of community members. I’ve seen a lot of the AH community leave because of RH, and while they are free to do whatever makes them happy, I don’t think we should abandon AH.
I’ve been watching AH since 2014 and I don’t plan to stop now. While things have changed a lot since then, I still go to them for comfort and think they’re great, funny, and relatable people. They’re heartbroken about this too so I don’t think everyone should abandon because RH is a terrible person.
RH has recently spoken again about everything, and while that certainly doesn't condone his actions or even start to, I’m concerned about the behavior he mentioned.
Sending death threats to his family and other AH members? They had nothing to do with it!
I’m proud of the AH community and its members. They can be some of the funniest and heartwarming people around Tumblr. I still see the toxic side of the community every once in a while, but this is being taken too far.
