Imagine: a calico cat xenobotanist with a specialty in carnivorous plants and pverwhelming confidence in her ability to survive unprecidented danger. She's brave, she's reckless, she's full of love and joy. She will hug a plant clearly interested in eating her alive and believe in her own ability to dodge.
Her robot assistant who's cataloging all these plants, meanwhile, has anxiety. Its name is Excev.
