Act 3 in DAI was totally non-existent, hence its issues. I sort of feel a Hawke-esque hero won’t work if what they’ve been setting up comes to pass, in which case yeah, the inquisitor/inquisition needs to be toppled for any other hero to make sense.
I don’t think it was... totally... non-existent exactly, but it really wasn’t very good. it was all shine and no substance.
yeah, i know what you mean. you’re right. still, its a shame. I think the franchise needs a smaller game, plot wise, but the plots they’ve set up don’t really allow for it, which is a pity.
plus, i wanna burn tevinter to the ground.
not like....... completely. but definitely raze it a little.
i don’t know what the heck the next hero could possibly be. I don’t think it’d work at all to try and exceed the inquisitor, if that makes sense? like, herald of andraste etc, etc, in charge of this huge organisation- you can’t... really up that in thedas’ world? (TAKE DOWN TEVINTER WITH THE EX-SLAVE REBELS)
but i need to stop wanting that or else i’m just gonna be disappointed lmao. okay. it’s done. it’s in the vault. goodbye.
the thing is i’m excited where they will go for this but they have to start answering some questions that are left pointlessly and needlessly open, and they need to stop introducing more. and i don’t really know where this leads? you have orlais’ leader with command but a tenacious one at best without faith of the country/nobility, you have the grey wardens in strife in the anderfels, the inquisition being a juggernaut to the south, the drastically different ways the divine handles the mages, the qunari presence and looming war against the rest of thedas a constant threat... it’s all very, very scattered, and I really don’t think them trying to take it all on in one game is a good idea, but they haven’t really left themselves much other option.
