Ginny got hardcore fucked over in the movies too, and this is coming from someone who was never a huge fan of her. The movies stripped her of literally any depth and personality not to mention the complete lack of chemistry between her and DanRad

Do not get me started I AM a fan of Ginny and ugh.

My post about Ron being down to fite at all times applies to ALL the Weasleys and ESPECIALLY Ginny, but was any of it in the movies? No!

Like let’s list all the times Ginny threw down because she is just as ride or die as her brother.

1. Was totally ready to fight Draco Malfoy at age eleven for being mean to Harry

2. Has apparently cursed Fred and George several times, which, good, JUST DESSERTS.

3.Nailed Malfoy with the Bat Bogey hex when he was trying to hold them captive

4. Hit Zacharias Smith with the same hex, claimed it was because he was annoying her by talking about what happened at the Ministry, but knowing him, he probably said some nasty stuff about Harry and her other friends in regards to that and set her off

5. Apparently beat the shit out of some boys making fun of Luna.

6. Deliberately crashed into Zacharias Smith with her broom and buried him under debris when he was nasty about her team with his Quidditch commentary

7. Straight up tried to duel Ron when he tried slut-shaming her. 

Ginny is a terror and being friends with her means she’ll beat the shit out of anyone who badmouths you and I love her.

Tangled. Shiro as the kidnapped prince stuck in a tower and Keith as the thief who somehow gets stuck taking Shiro to the festival and he starts out annoyed because Shiros super naive and sheltered but he's also super positive and sweet and its endearing and oh no feelings (I also think the 'death scene' just screams Sheith to me)

Fruits Basket (assuming you've seen/read it)

Fruits Basket was high-school me’s JAM. I think I got up to volume 18 or 19 of the manga but unfortunately I never finished it properly and just read spoilers years later.

Fruits Basket is a very charming slice-of-life with a good simmering slow burn of a plot about becoming better as a person and overcoming abuse. Most of the characters were charming and well-written and you wanted to root for them. My personal favorites were Hana and Uo (THEY WERE THE BEST), and also Kyo and Momiji and Rin. I think as the manga went on it did a good job of deepening Tohru’s character from just “standard all-loving shoujo heroine” and I loved the chapters that went into her mom’s backstory - also was a rare great use of the Dead Mom Trope - though she’s dead at the start of the story, Kyoko’s influence on Tohru and others is still a major part of the plot and she’s more than just the “Ideal Mom” character.

My annoyance at the forced heterosexuality for like EVERYONE at the end aside, I imagine Fruits Basket probably still holds up very well as a primarily high-school-set shoujo manga that would still appeal to a wide audience.

Anakin should've left the Jedi Order after everything that happened with Ahsoka. Like he should've just been like "y'all don't trust me ya tried to kill my student based on no evidence and didn't even try to give her a fair trial so I'm out. It very much felt like Keith was the leader in name only lol like literally Lance was basically telling him what to do the entire season and was acting as impulse control and hk calling him out. "i fucked up" "sure did buddy I told you that like 5 minutes ago???" Like Keith is a hothead and single minded and definitely has a lot of growing up to do but he's already making progress and I'm looking forward to seeing what the writers do with him since "Shiro" is back.

Right?? Like the bonus to all of this was that Lance finally had to chill out and show his mature side, which was nice and refreshing and all that.  But yeah it was sort of hilarious in a frustrating way that everyone up to and including the Black Lion was like “Keith u have to be the leader” and then when Keith proceeded to do what Keith does everyone was like “Keith u need to stop/Keith listen to Shiro come on.”  But yeah he is starting to learn and figure things out, idk how this is gonna go in the future.  It might be better for Shiro to just stay in the castle after all he’s been through (and whatever tf this Kuron Project business is)

I'm pretty sure Shiro is a clone?? At first I thought that they just like put something in his brain so Zarkon could like mind control him. But someone pointed out that his eyeliner is different lol so I'm pretty sure thats not the same Shiro. I'm confused where him and Zarkon went at the end of s2 tho? They didn't really explain that. Also where is Matt???? I thought the black lion would of teleported them to either an alt dimension or to another planet and Shiro and Mat would meet up

You know, after thinking about it for a while my theory is that this Shiro is actually the real Shiro, and the Shiro who’s been leading Voltron up until now is the fake.  That’s why his hair was so long--it hasn’t been cut since he went missing during the Kerberos mission, which would have been a couple of years ago now.  Somehow he’s sharing his memories/perception with the false Shiro, evidenced by the bizarre scene during his escape in ep 5.

As for his eyeliner, boy has been through hell, you think he has a steady enough hand to get his wings razor sharp right now? I doubt it.  LOL but yeah something is definitely off there and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY SPACE SON.

Tarzan AU. Keith ends up with the BOM but he still looks human and then Shiro and the other paladins show up and Keith is just like "why they look like me kolivan" Kolivan is Kerchek in this case

The girl who plays Raven is like 14 so I really hope they don’t go the romance route. If they do then yikes!!

I mean. I wish I could say they won’t but we all saw the trailer. Wouldn’t put it past them.

And her being much younger than Robin REALLY annoys me, jesus. They were always around the same age! In all incarnations! why you gotta infantilize her? So she can be maximum naive and helpless? ughhhh.
