          “ so,  you typically deal with  SECURITY  in wakanda,  right? ”  she’s definitely  interested.  despite the fact that statesman has an  air tight  security system,  it’s always good to hear other ideas on how to make things  BETTER  &  MORE EFFICIENT.  especially if those systems were to  fail.  “ y’all are...  honestly  incredible.  i’d love to hear any ideas you’ve got that can step up our game. ”

Being raised in a warrior society tended to give them a harsh hand.

{☆} Gamora had been BRIEFED on the history of Wakanda before they had even departed the Avengers’ compound--and she really didn’t like the idea of bringing Thanos to them. Statistically and GEOGRAPHICALLY, it made sense--with more open space than New York City, and with the technological advances the Wakandans had, it made them suitable allies.

But--it felt WRONG to drag them, all of them, into a war they never asked for.

She’d been going over everything in her head, even before the Guardians touched down on Terra with the Asgardian KING in their ship. And, aside from the overabundance of FEAR, she was wracked with overwhelming GUILT. 

As much as she hated the idea, Thanos called himself her FATHER. Which, in her mind, made him her PROBLEM. It was bad enough that Peter and the others were already embroiled with theoretical TARGETS painted on their backs--but asking strangers, the Avengers, to help...even worse, an entire NATION to help...They hadn’t seen what Thanos could do. She had. It was a DEATH sentence.

Extending her hand out to the man before her, she bowed her head slightly. “You are...the head of the BORDER tribe, yes? Thank you for welcoming us to your lands.” Gamora offered, her expression impassive and impossible to read.

     “They brought me here to tell me about what happened to my son and to show me this land, and it’s beautiful but it isn’t going to bring Erik back.” She speaks to the man, words full of emotion. A sigh passes her lips, she’s still coping with everything, the lack of information given to her is continuing to weigh her down but she was told this man was one of the first Erik had encountered. “Did he get ta’ see the rhinos? Must’ve loved em if he did. I managed to take him to the zoo when he was a kid, he liked their horns or somethin’ like that.” The memory brings the slightest smile to her face. “He liked the lions better though.”

     they were all being escorted into wakanda, all told of some sort of threat coming straight for earth and straight for this country. jessica was one of those recruited for this fight and now she stood on the lush green hill in her suit, arms folding tightly across her chest.  “  so, what kind of defense do you guys have? ”   she questions the man nearest her.
