The World Revolution

To me, the Revolution is about accountability, personal responsibility, and humanity. Giving the 99% a voice, stopping the greed, and taking the majority power away from the 1% are only effects of the underlying cause. We The People (of the World), in our pursuit of happiness and the liberty to do what we want in our own lives, have adapted blinders which stop us from taking a look at the world outside our daily interactions. We gave away the responsibility of truth to the media. We gave away the responsibility of progress to the corporations. We gave away the responsibility of our perspective Nations to our governments. We allowed ourselves the delusion of "not my job" and find ourselves outraged when we were duped, taken advantage of, lied to, etc.

Just as we demand accountability for their greed and misuse of station, we are admitting our own accountability for our lack of action before now, and making the necessary changes in our own lives. The Revolution, to me, is about taking back our personal responsibility for the humanity of our Nations. It's The People holding themselves responsible for seeking out and understanding the truth, of accurately sharing it, of taking an active part in our quests for the freedoms we demand, of taking back the responsibility of progress. It's about setting aside our differences and realizing we all have something to contribute. From the 1% to the jobless, if we all take personal responsibility and work together, we can all benefit. We really must be the change we want to see, each one of us, individually and in solidarity.

Some of us are further along that road than others, and we are finally starting to seek each other out. We are waking up and we are educating ourselves and each other. We are realizing that while we cannot change our pasts, we will do well to choose in having a hand in our future; that the billions of whispers from the 99% shall be far louder than the shouts of the 1%. In our unified peace, and our steady demand for accountability across the World, we will outlast the chaos of violent opposition.

It's time we took sound advice and stopped falling for anything, and started standing for something; ourselves. If our elected representatives won’t stand along-side us in the streets and sidewalks, if they won’t assemble with us- Let that speak of their loyalty and for whom they see themselves truly working. Let us do something about it; We The People (of the World) are accountable for our future, whether or not you’re in this Revolution, but let us not forget our Humanity in the process.
