Hi!! What are your thoughts on mutual pining and 'there was only one bed', for the fanfic trope game?

Give me a fanfiction trope and I’ll grade it:

Mutual pining:

A: Love it. Spend my time combing AO3 for it.

B: Like it. Not one of my bigger cravings, but it can scratch a certain itch if I’m in the right mood.

C: Neutral. A good author might be able to sell it, but a bad one will kill it deader than dead.

D: Not my favorite. I avoid it if I can, but it won’t necessarily put me off reading something.

F: Hate it. Will immediately make me nope out of a fic.

Only one bed:

so you'd recommend going to see apocalypse? I've had it on my calendar for so long but then critics started slamming it and I wasn't sure if I should to spend money to see it in theatres

It really depends on what you are looking to see

If you are a fan of the X-Men you will love the movie because despite all the differences from 616 canon they correct so much of how horribly the initial trilogy fucked everything up

You get to see Cyclops and Jean and Nightcrawler again, you seem much more accurate Storm, there are all these little things like certain costume pieces that if you are a big fan will thrill you to see

I understand that it's a little monotonous (although not really for something with X-Men on it) but it's a huge fix–it piece.

At the very end, and this isn't a huge spoiler, you see the balled Xavier, in his wheelchair, sending the X-Men into the Danger Room to train. If you are fan of classic X-Men this is great.

If you are fan of the newer X-Men you will still find it great because it's utter madness and complete drama, just like we have every week in the comic books.

If you are looking for superhero movie, something like Avengers, this probably isn't something you would enjoy. It's not good vs evil, although the protagonist is watered down so much that it really doesn't do him justice, it's a soap opera with special-effects. So, exactly like the comic.

If you aren't a fan or are looking for something in particular, just interested in seeing what the X-Men are like, there is a lot you won't get if you haven't seen at least First Class but you get introductions to tons of characters, characters that have even been in the other movies but since that was all wiped away it's a lot like a fresh start for everyone.

And if you are just a big fan of Deadpool you might want to watch this just to get this canon under your belt since he is a part of it and this is going to lead into casts he's going to join. You even get see something that Deadpool mentioned happened in his movie already.

If you ship Xavier and Magneto, just watch the movie. The spoilers aren't lying. The fanfic is gonna be great
