It's bad enough that every time I swim or snorkel nowadays, I end up collecting plastic trash that is destroying coral, fish and other marine life. The plastic situation is so dire that #microplastics are now being detected in our foods, drinking waters, and even placentas of unborn babies! We need to be creating solutions, not problems for the next generations. We are responsible for either the destruction or protection of the earth and seas, and most of all, ourselves.🗡️ The United States is the biggest producer of plastic waste in the world. Contaminating every ecosystem, it is felt most in the oceans of other lands, especially throughout Asia. In the Philippines, one of the biggest pollution problems here are the plastic wrappers, single-use sachets, packaging materials, and now surgical face masks that end up as floating garbage. More than ever, we need sustainability now!
