I wonder who’s my favourite character… ahem hides all my drawings of Eclipse. I swear one day I’ll draw him with the helmet on!
Anyway, Eclipse and Violet have the best backstory, change my mind.
“You look different. Your eyes look tired, your frame looks lighter, your smile torn. Is it really you, my love?”

For those who don’t know the context, Eclipse died so Violet asked some strange orc to teach her necromancy. She learned dark magic in exchange for her healing powers and resurrected her lover. But Eclipse wasn’t too happy about his zombie appearance: crooked limbs, rotting flesh… so he wears an armour to hide his body. Violet knew he wouldn’t come back the exact same as before but she didn’t care.
Delighted to announce that I'll be writing volume 2 of Osprey's "German Troops in the American Revolution," looking specifically at every German state involved that isn't Hesse-Cassel! Very much enjoying the work so far (cover is just a stand-in for now though).
