For me, love isn't something I give easily. I don't see it as simply wanting a future with someone, getting married, or starting a family, having a crush or feelings. To me, love is much deeper than that.
It's when someone becomes incredibly important to you. Someone who makes you feel genuinely loved, and someone you love just as deeply in return. They become your safe place, your peace. You can't imagine intentionally hurting them, and they inspire you to become a better version of yourself, not because they ask you to, but because you want to be worthy of them.
That's why I don't think I fall in love easily. I don't give that part of myself to just anyone. I wouldn't even say I loved my crush. Feelings can come and go, but I believe love is something that stays. To me, love is meant to be enduring.
Love is finding happiness and peace simply by being with someone. It's enjoying every conversation, noticing the little things about them that everyone else overlooks, remembering the smallest details, and genuinely caring about what matters to them. It's trusting them with parts of yourself that you wouldn't give to anyone else. And if they were to leave, even for reasons you know are right, it would still hurt in a way that's difficult to describe.
To love someone is to care so deeply that it almost hurts. Not because the relationship is unhealthy, but because you've never felt something so profound before. It's the kind of feeling that brings tears to your eyes, not from sadness, but from gratitude. You're simply grateful they exist, and grateful that, somehow, your life crossed paths with theirs.
I wonder if one day I’ll find love again, and also find new love songs that I love as much I loved the old songs I listened in the past.

The right person doesn't just make you smile.
They become the first person you want to call when something amazing happens...
and the only arms you want to run to when life gets heavy.
That's the kind of love that feels like home.

I’m finally watching Heartstopper Forever and it just occurred to me: I dislike the concept of “they were made for each other” cause when you think about it for more than a second it’s utter bullshit. No couple was made for each other, yet we claim that a difficult upbringing, bonding over trauma or even just relating to certain experiences is some sort of destiny or bio marker for them ending up together.
That’s bullshit. What truly makes a good couple a great couple that will stay together forever is a conscious and constant choice: through their love, they make each other into the best version of themselves. You become the best version of yourself when you allow to see yourself through the eyes of someone who loves you.
The common quote “you can only be loved by someone when you love yourself first” is partially true, in the sense of you don’t have to love yourself yet, but you have to accept that you are worthy to be loved. That is by no means even limited to romantic couples, friends can also help you to come to this understanding through their platonic love.
TL;DR: Charlie and Nick aren’t made for each other. Through their love, they made each other into the best version of themselves.
Hepimiz sevdiklerimizi yanımızda hissediyoruz. Sanki hiç gitmemişler gibi, sanki hep buradalarmış gibi, sanki elimizi uzatsak dokunabilecekmişiz gibi, sanki dönüp baksak görecekler, konuşsak duyabileceklermiş gibi...
