Can someone please tell the Púca in the bowler hat that it is extremely bad practice to turn into a horse on campus, especially so close to finals. I have tried and failed, I am no longer allowed in the West Dorm. Thanks and best of luck to you. -Hieros

In fact someone should inform him that horses of all forms are strictly forbidden on campus grounds and have been for almost two decades now, following the Incident with the Equestrian Team. The University will take action with extreme prejudice if he doesn’t cut it out sooner rather than later.

Does Elsewhere accept transfers and if so are there unique dangers to coming as a sophomore or junior as opposed to a freshman?

It does accept transfers. The hurdles that transferring students will face are in a lot of ways similar to any other school - everyone else has a handle on school traditions already, on the rhythms of campus and the quirks of the classes; groups are already established and you will be an outsider at first.

Granted, ‘traditions’ here means everyone goes by things like Murkus and Wren, which will seem doubly weird to people who didn’t go through freshman orientation, where choosing nicknames was encouraged as a fun, whacky school tradition to signify a new start. And the quirks include changelings, and some of the friend groups are in fact eldritch secret societies.

But the basic principle remains! And so too do the upsides of transferring - although you may feel like an outsider at first, once you make friends you’ll have people watching your back who already know what’s up, rather than having to figure it out all together from scratch.
