with eyes closed she breathes him in filling her lungs to the fullest. oh, how it helps ease the worries that cloud her mind. hands grasp his shirt to pull him closer, something she does even in her sleep when she can’t get enough of him or when the nightmares haunt her. she stirs against him, heart racing against his shoulder. another day, another nightmare --- but this one consists of the death of him.
