My version of the Rooms player is, essentially, supposed to be just that. They're a Roblox Noob with wayyy too much free time and somehow find joy in playing an admittedly VERY broken game way past its prime. Because of the way Rooms is, they tend to play alone and for long periods of time. Patience is definitely their virtue. They're pretty skilled in understanding Roblox's systems and code and in the others' games they may sneak a peek at things that normally shouldn't be seen. and maybe do a bit of admin panel tomfoolery if they find a way to. watch them buy the gamepass in doors and go absolutely ham lmao

They were pretty much forced to figure out everything they now know on their own and is not used to company or the very concept of outside help.

I honest to god cannot see Rooms as anything else than what it is. A rotting game. I dislike anyting I come up with that takes it seriously and attempts to build its world to be more realistic. Thus, that's why my Rooms is simply itself. Nothing exists behind the metal doors. It's infinite, expanding in every direction and in no direction and in one straight path all at once. There is no endgoal within the game, no point in playing it at all. There is nothing here for you. You are your own stopping point.

And yet, there are still people who push on.

this is about ettrio but in particular it's the expendable for me—it's hoenstly a whiplash seeing how people make them so different from my own interpretation and i think that's so cool

recently cleaned up some of my old drafts relating to pressure and whatnot, throwing them all into a folder for archival, and didn't want to leave this in the dark forever. it's not too long but it mattered to me quite a bit. preface has a lot more words, so yea

this is a little "what if the doors player and the pressure player met after their games? lol" and, in my own words, "the whoel fic in its current is more of an exr-p character study but STILLL. explodes". the most notable thing about this is that it was written a month or so before ett started gaining traction (on tumblr, i think??)

to whoever's reading this, i hope you enjoy it as much as i gained joy from it ^^ i wrote this sleep-deprived, agonizingly waiting in the airport, the only though driving me awake being "you can project your pains onto fictional characters, you know" and a-60 rooms. despite everything, i remain fond of it i miss them dearly
