Came very close to getting mugged tonight on my way home, with a pizza pitstop.  I just kept thinking, "Be the bigger bear."   I am awkward and squeaky voiced... until someone thinks they can intimidate me and take my shit... this is when survival mode kicks in, and I become this other person who is apparently super badass and a bit ghetto. "You follow me home, and you are going to be so fucking sorry."

Thank god for survival mode.  Meanwhile, inside I was completely shitting my pants... while half of my brain kept saying be the bigger bear, confidently spewing out expletives as firmly as possible, telling them that I very much hope they fucking, drop dead. The other side kept thinking, oh no, oh no, oh no, fuck.   It's sad that it was just the one guy, and his two companions were just standing five feet away waiting to see which way it was going to go. Pepper spray tomorrow... because talking shit when you have no upper body strength, can only get you so far.  Moral of the story: Be the bigger bear.

I never understood really how being in a crowded room but feeling so lonely till today, it's quite sad to see things change but at the end I guess you just know who your real friends are.
