◎“If you see a goofy looking mop of a dog running around, two things; yes, he is friendly so feel free to pet him and please inform him that daddy didn’t appreciate him eating their newspaper.” The librarian said to the new comer as they set aside a stack of books to be returned to the fiction section. “The little bastard,” They said with the utmost affection, “never goes after the books. Just my paperwork and personal reading material.”◎
SOUL
send me a ‘soul’ and my muse will describe what they think your muse’s soul ‘sounds’ like
The soft sound of a crackling fire; well stocked and maintained, but not roaring. It’s the sound of warmth that radiates around and fills the area. It is quiet, almost unheard, over the sound of rustling leaves caught on a cool breeze. Drops of rain on a window are paired with both of these; the clouds passing fast over head. Not a storm, no thunder or lightening, but soothing and makes the soft sound of the fire nearby feel all the more important and adds depth to the leaves and branches swaying along with the wind.

♟:Patching up a wound
“…If you keep this up, you’re going to be more scars than skin.” Riley muttered under their breath, dropping the washrag they had been using to clean the would in the cool water next to them. Warm water would have been more soothing, but people seemed to forget that warm water was a breeding ground for germs. Wiping the wound and then their hands with a dry towel before reaching for the wrappings, they sighed. “I don’t want to know what happened. Anytime I ask I just get upset and find out I can’t do anything about it… but tell me this is the last time you’re going to get hurt… Even if it’s a lie.”
