どういうわけかこのヤモリには我ながら異様な執着があり、今まで見かけて財政的な余裕があれば毎度手を出していたので、現状1ダースのこのヤモリがうちにはいる。全く執着とは自らの背面に回って初めて気が付くものである。

気が付けば現状の面子の中でも最古参に数えられるぐらいには長く飼っていて、一番年長（と思われる）個体で家に来て14年というやつもいる。タレントラの類は非常に長寿で丈夫であり、今まで買い集めてきた個体の中で死亡したものはいない。恐らく今17匹はいる、多分20匹はいない。
