Wall Kick- A Study by *Nintendo-Nut1

So I wanted to practice Mario some more and a thought occurred to me that I wanted to study the motion in his Wall Kick and so I did that. Here's my distinction between the Wall KICK and the Wall JUMP. In Super Mario 64, Mario jumps at the wall and bounds off it precisely when he hits it, so it's more like kicking off the wall; there's even a kicking sound effect to go with it. In later Mario platformers, Mario jumps at the wall and then slides down, giving him time to push off the wall in an actual jump. Either way, motion happens and it's really kickass and I really fucking love how a round and pudgy guy like Mario can be so nimble and just~ Yup. Forgive the weirdness in Mario's shapes here and there, I'm still getting used to this new style.
