let go and breathe (a repeated and much needed statement)
I'm an overthinker, to the point where I get told by several people in my life to just breathe, from my parents to my teachers. I have been told to breathe and relax - that I still do enough without needing to do more.
Recently, i've been told this several times in the past week or two that it has really got me thinking, especially with shifting.
I have always needed a this and a that, if this wasn't complete I won't succeed, if I don't do this - it won't happen. I have to have things perfect.
College work has to exceed limits so then I am not afraid that it isn't enough, and even then I ask "is it okay?" when it is. When in reality it is more work than any of my classmates have done - teachers words not mine.
Shifting for me is the exact same, I over do my scripts, I over research, I over do methods, I overthink, I get frustrated, I feel defeated. This is what makes me stress about shifting, the fact that I get frustrated when I haven't reached it.
For me personally, things like manifesting or shifting has came to me when I haven't over thought it. I manifested dinner the other night and didn't think about it for the rest of the day until it was time to decide for dinner.
Now, how do we just let go and breathe? And how do we do this without overthinking that we aren't doing it correctly.
perfection and overthinking and living that way is exhausting, I know it personally. especially when it comes to things we want - like shifting. this isn't a guide on how to make it stop, a guide to make it stop. Just a simple relaxation.
when we work with what we have rather than against it, we create something that is best for us. when we learn to let go, to breathe this is where the magic we intend can reveal it self as we aren't constantly asking for the how or why. we just start living in the moment we can.
I saw this quote the other day which is sort of the reason for this post that goes "sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe." And this is the best way to let go.
put the pen down, or the script away, whatever makes you stress, lay down and breathe. it doesn't even have to be a meditation, just breathe, in and out. then once you feel the frustration flow out of your body and you welcome the relaxation, remind yourself.
remind yourself that this feeling is okay but it isn't what controls you, speak positively to yourself - in that you are achievable of your goals. in that your simply becoming the version of yourself that has the things you want.
you are simply becoming something that already exists, not a forced ideology, not something that needs to perfected, just a seed already blossoming.
if you find yourself frustrated with shifting, manifesting or things in general. Breathe, remind, and accept.
breathing exercise, in, out, count to 4 or whatever is comfortable for you.. there is multiple different ways.
remind yourself "it is okay to feel this way, however I am already becoming the version me that I want to be."
accept that you are who you want to be, where you want to be, and let things change around you while you change with it. things are suppose to fit you, not you fit it. (and yes this can go with manifesting / shifting!)
(and fyi.. if you are like me and forget you can literally affirm that you have shifted - even if you don't know where to shift too you can, oftenly I sit there and like feel forced that I need to decide.. i create that barrier.. in reality, I can sit here, breathe and remind myself of what I want as if I have it.)
and remember.. we change like the seasons, not everything will be the same each time, and that is okay. we can bloom, we can fall and we can come back just as beautiful each time. just because it doesn't feel like it is moving right now.. doesn't mean it isn't.
now with that my lovelys, take care, shift freely and I'll see you next time
