Robotic Bin Carrier to Receive Upgrade - Orchards Rejoice

Robots will soon be helping pick our apples. True story. 

Researchers at WSU have been awarded a $1 million grant to design an intelligent bin management system for robotic self-propelled fruit bin carriers. Basically, these bins will not only follow orchard workers around carrying fruit, but also be able to place and collect bins reducing labor needs and increasing productivity.
