Why This Frame Hasn’t Shifted in Months
Small frames are deceptive.
They don’t look heavy. So people use whatever anchor is nearby.
That’s usually where things go wrong.
Plasterboard doesn’t fail loudly. It crushes slowly behind the surface.
Before hanging something like this, I always check:
• Is this wall hollow or solid? • Am I fixing into timber or just gypsum? • Is the drill bit matched to the anchor size? • Did I stop tightening once resistance increased?
When frames tilt over time, it’s rarely the hook.
It’s the anchor compressing the wall behind it.
Level once. Fix properly. Leave it alone.

The wall matters more than the frame.
Measure twice. Fix once.
