It’s all good
My wife has always been concerned about making a good impression. She is always dressed so nice and professional. (Even if we're just going to the grocery store.) If I don't need to dress up, then I don't. I many times have been asked do you work for Ringling Brothers. If Walmart had a "Yikes " Collection of clothing, you'd find me in that section. I take a lot from my father. He's a bit more cavalier about those things. It was always about doing his own thing. No need spending money I don't have to buy things I don't need to impress people I don't like. I like to kinda follow that train of thought My wife informed me that she wants to hire someone to do our yard work this summer. I explained to her how that idea is ridiculous and we need to have a pow-wow about all this. I admit I'm not a professional landscape gardener. But I don't think I'm a hopeless cause. Rumor has it rabbits in the neighborhood have pitched in to fix the holes in our fence to help keep their babies out. Our home is not on the Parade of Homes route. I hear of people who have art collections. I asked someone once if my stash of Mrs. Butterworth bottles in my garage would count as an Art Collection? I never got a solid answer. If I ever decided to redo the living room in a Drunken Hobo decor those bottles will be priceless.
