I received the help of mod Neko in this one! Not related to a particular game, but we used different classes based in games we played in the past. Here we go!
MMORPG AU
The cast:
Nina is a Summoner and she can summon a big, female reddragon. She’s influenced by her emotions and when she gets nervous aroundhandsome man, her powers get out of control and her dragon goes out, doing amess around her. Still, Nina likes to summon her dragon in open spaces andsleep on the dragon’s big head, patting her and asking who the best dragon inthe world is. She also does small works as bounty hunter thanks to Favaro,getting some money to her travels and to help her mother.
Azazel is an Umbralkinetic (someone that can controlthe shadows and make them get physical form). He’s Nina’s fellow traveller andhe likes to scare her dragon with shadow’s snakes because he thinks it’s funnyto see such a big creature behaving like a small animal, ending up in arguing withNina because of that. Azazel and Nina met because she stumbled with him and herdragon went outside, so he helped her to calm the dragon down. He also hasknowledge in magic, but he prefers to work with shadows.
Mugaro/El is a High Priest and he’s in Nina andAzazel’s party. Nina and Azazel always want to protect him because he’s theyounger of them, but despite his age he’s a really good support and if it weren’tfor him, Nina and Azazel won’t be survived to a lot of their missions. He likes togo shopping with Nina and plays the ocarina to Azazel. Even if he’s just akid, his holy powers are big enough to give him that kind of high rank.
Favaro is a hunter. He works alone and sometimeswith Kaisar and Rita. He’s Nina’s teacher in the world of the bounty hunters sosometimes he goes to see how she is doing everything. He sometimes ends up in ajail and Kaisar is the one forced to arrest him, getting in troubles every timeFavaro escapes.
Kaisar is a Knight and the one that’s forced tochase Favaro every time he does something illegal. For some reason, he alwaysends up in the middle of Favaro’s adventures and with him escaping from hishands when he’s distracted. Even if he’s able to arrest Favaro, he always findsthe way to escape from him. Despite their chase-escape relationship, Kaisar andFavaro are close friends that meet since childhood, but took differents paths.
Rita is a Necromancer and usually the one that sellsstrange potions to the rest of the cast. She specializes in the control of thedead, potion’s creation and medicine. She works with the rest of the castdepending how much they can pay with the exception of Kaisar and Favaro, whoare her friends since long time so she doesn’t request a payment from them. She usually isforced to deal with Azazel and Nina’s childish fights when they’re with her to get some potions.
Jeanne is a Paladin and Mugaro’s mother. At first,she was blessed by Michael but when he died, she received Sofiel’s bless. She’sforced to stay in a holy city and at first, she wasn’t agree in let Mugaro goto have his own adventure, but after meet Azazel and Nina she was agree in lethim go with them with the promise to send letters to her and visit her everytime he can. Still, she doesn’t trust Azazel too much, but Nina won her trust.
Sofiel is an Archangel/God that blessed Jeanne whenMichael died. Unlike the rest of the Archangels, she seems to have a closerelationship with her Paladin and visit her so often, giving some advices whenJeanne needs them. She also visits Mugaro as Jeanne’s wish, helping him tolearn how to control his holy’s powers and making sure he’s fine with his team.
Charioce is the leader of the knights and a Knighthimself. His wish is turn into a king in the future and he’s ready to doeverything to reach his goals. He and his knights are usually working in thecity to keep the criminals under control. He firmly believes that Azazel it’s acriminal and he should be in the jail, ending up fighting with him every timethey meet each other.
Extra headcanons:
Nina usually drags Azazel and Mugaro in her tasks asbounty hunter, sharing the reward with them. Azazel usually complains so Ninaand Mugaro have to convince him to join them in their adventure. Even if Azazeltries to deny, Mugaro and Nina always find the way to make him accept.
Every time Azazel gets his reward, he going to a pubto spend everything in expensive wines and food unlike Nina and Mugaro, whoprefers to save it. Sometimes Favaro joins him, usually to order a lot and leftwithout pay, letting everything in Azazel’s debts.
When Charioce and Azazel meets and end up in a fightthere’s equality in their abilities so it’s hard to know who can win at thetime. Still, if Azazel gets in troubles, he finds the way to look for Nina andhug her to make her get nervous, making her summon her dragon an do a mess he canuse as distraction to escape. Of course, Nina always complains for that.
Sometimes, Nina and Favaro are likepartners-in-crime, working together to get what they want. Usually, they dothis to find a way to free him from jail, making Kaisar get angry becauseFavaro is involving a young girl in illegal’s situations to get hisfreedom. Nina actually gets fun doing this, even if she knows she’s doingsomething wrong. Azazel says that Nina should be left to rot in jail withFavaro whenever she's involved in his illegal antics and Nina sticks her tongue out in response.
Azazel was involved in massive robberies in the pastwhich gave him the reputation of a thief called ‘rag demon’, fighting to improve the situation of his people; he met Charioce in those times, and whenhis people got a better situation he faked his death. Everyone believed he wasdead except Charioce who was the only one that saw his face. When Nina knew hispast, she said that he shouldn’t judge her for help her teacher, but Azazelalways tell that he did it for need unlike Favaro, who always get in troubles and she’s too small to understand it.
Even if Azazel and Nina argue a lot of times, they’restill working together because Azazel can use his control of the shadows tohelp her when the dragon is out of control, while he is interested in Nina’sability and he also receives a payment when they go together to do Nina’sbounty hunter’s tasks. They sometimes take flights together; Nina riding herdragon and Azazel using wings that he forms with the help of the shadows.
People believe that Azazel’s powers are related todemons so he’s always judged by the people when he shows his abilities. Sofieland Jeanne didn’t like him at first because of that, but Mugaro and Nina convinced them that heisn’t a bad guy despite his grumpy and prideful personality.
